Science based formula of macro nutrient minerals and trace elements specially selected for rapid assimilation into the equine metabolism. Give your horse the best.
Australian soils are mostly badly degraded and deficient in essential nutrient minerals. EnduroMin is a locally made product formulated for Australian conditions supplying your horse with a good balanced ration of over 30 of these missing or sparsely available nutrients. Most of the minerals have been provided in a chelated form for easy absorption in the gastro intestinal tract.
Calcium and collateral nutrients will build up your horse’s bones and metabolism for optimum performance and head off the degenerative conditions that plague livestock living in nutrient deficient areas such as most of Australia.
Like calcium, phosphorus (P) is a major constituent of bone and it is required for many energy transfer reactions. True phosphorus absorption is quite variable and ranges from 30-55 percent. The balance of calcium to phosphorus intake is very important. If calcium intake is less than phosphorus intake than calcium absorption may be impaired.
With grains being naturally higher in phosphorus than calcium it is quite easy to feed too much phosphorus. Also there are a lot of grasses that contain substantial amounts of oxalates (calcium blocking) in typical grazing paddocks in Australia.
Selenium while being an important mineral for the overall well-being and endurance capabilities of livestock is notoriously deficient in many parts of Australia and patchy even in the better areas.
Silica in its highly available form (Colloidal Silica Gel) is an important mineral for connective tissue development and immune system maintenance.
Iodine is another patchy mineral in Australia and is essential for synthesis of thyroid hormones which is the principal regulator of metabolic rate (conversion of food into energy).
Manganese (Mn) is essential for carbohydrate and lipid metabolism and for synthesis of the chondroitin sulfate necessary in cartilage formation. Crooked limbs in calves has been associated with Manganese deficiency and it has been suggested, but not proven, that limb abnormalities and congenital contractures in newborn foals is also associated with this deficiency.
The better known mineral nutrients Iron, Zinc, Copper, Chromium, Manganese, Cobalt, Boron are well represented in our formulation as even some of these are sometimes not readily available in sufficient amounts in natural forages.
EnduroMin has been carefully researched and developed to cover the shortfalls in nutrition of horses living in Australia.
When you use EnduroMin at the recommended dose, there is no need to feed any other supplements including calcium or seaweed meal.
Ingredients include:
Di-Calcium Phosphate, Calcium Sulphate, Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Phosphate, Magnesium Carbonate, Potassium Chloride, Potassium Sulphate, Common Salt, EDTA, Citrates, Sulphur, Boron, Iron, Copper, Zinc, Manganese, Molybdenum, Silica Gel, Tungsten, Nickel, Cobalt, Selenium, Folic Acid, Iodine, Chromium, Germanium and other Nano Nutrients.
A 50gram scoop of EnduroMin contains approx. 20 grams of Calcium which is 43% of the recommended daily optimum rate. In general horses are able to absorb and assimilate what they need and excrete the rest.
Directions:
A small scoop is supplied. The black line indicates the 50 gram mark and this is one days supply for a 500kg horse. Therefore it is an average of 10grms per 100kg of horse.
50grams per 500kg
40grams per 400kg
20grams per 200kg.
EnduroMin can simply be sprinkled on your horses feed. It is easily digested, the horses love the taste and will often lick clean their feed bin. We have not yet come across a horse that will not eat EnduroMin.
At the recommended dosage rates toxic overloads of any of the minerals cannot occur on either natural forage or processed organic feed mixes. This product has been formulated specifically for horses and must not be used for other animals. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility if this product is not used as stated.
