The results show a range of efficacy for this natural health aid that would be the envy of any single pharmaceutical drug, or even for a whole swathe of drugs used in concert. The afflictions included cardiovascular, bronchial, deep and surface connective tissue, lymphatic diathesis (immune weakness), stomatitis (mouth, gums) gastrointestinal, joint and muscular. Results varied from very good to satisfactory, with only 2 cases not showing significant efficacy, and those mainly due to noncompliance by the subjects. This book would be a useful acquision for anyone interested in natural health care.

The role of silica in bone health (mainly density and strength) throughout life, and especially in older age groups is well covered in the book. The beneficial anti-aging effects of silica gel supplementation are clearly shown in 14 cases in the trial study. The range and variety of symptoms, many ultimately related to cardiovascular health, strongly suggests that silica gel therapy should always be considered as a first resort rather than a last for geriatric problems especially and for health problems in general at all ages. It may not be the complete answer but this study points to its being a very good start most of the time.
